Harley walks away from Warrior twice in a row from 40-45 mph roll-on

Went riding today with my wife and two Warrior riders from this forum, a husband and wife team. Found ourselves on the highway and the husband decided it was time to put my Harley in its place so he started gassing it some when we were both doing around 40-45 mph to show me he wanted to "go." We both nailed it and (I'm sure) to his surprise, I walked away from him until my speedometer hit 120mph and my bike was still pulling. He shut it down and gave up on trying to keep up. After I slowed down and he caught back up he kindly shot me the bird out of appreciation.

A few miles later down the road he decided something must have gone wrong and that this time he'd REALLY show me... But the same story repeated itself only this time I only hit about 100 mph before he'd given up. True story and I'll let the Warrior rider tell his side of it once he sees this post. Both his bike and mine have aftermarket pipes and VBAK with PCIII and no other performance mods to either bike. Might be a little hard for some of y'all to swallow, but it happened today. Twice.

One of the comments he made afterwards was that his bike was heavier than mine and he was heavier than I am. He's a bigger guy than I am but I just checked and the wet weight of my bike is 667 lbs and of a Warrior is 650 pounds... So he should have had roughly a 17 pound weight advantage as far as the bikes go. Just figured I'd point that out. You know, tryin' to help out and all that.

The Warrior must have only been running on one cylinder....
I dunno. It sounded like it was running pretty good to me. I mean, from what I could hear of it way back there but my own exhaust was kind of blowing backwards towards his bike and drowning out some of the sound it was making back there... behind me. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'...

Were you both in same gear,I was checking out the specs and H-D=70-71hp/80-82trqwith your mods 83-85hp/90trq if the warrior was stock thats certinly enough to walk off on him sounds good to me
No, I said in the original post that he had basically the same mods I have. Homemade vbak, pipes, PCIII.

He must have lost traction from the Harley oil or it smeared up his shades. lol

And thats a nice bike shaq, how are those bars?
Thanks. I like the bars. They don't look really super "cool" to me but they look ok and I like the way they work with the rest of the bike to give me a really comfortable seating position. And they don't (seem to) take away any of the feel for the handling of the bike to me. I seem to do ok in the twisty stuff with this bike.

I guess anything's possible. And of course I do expect for an excuse or two or fifteen to get brewed up before this is all over with.

Hey this is getting interesting....let's keep it going, then we can compile the TOP 10 REASONS WHY THE WARRIOR LOST TO A HARLEY:

1. Warrior must have been running on one cylinder.

2. Warrior Must have lost traction from the Harley oil.

3. The Warrior didn't have it's CPS,TPS recall done.

4.

not calling you a liar but I find it kinda hard to believe considering I have pulled a from harleys with 95 and 103 kits in them. drag racing and roll ons all I have is street sweepers and tornado must be in the riding. I guess I'll have go today and redeem the warrior thanks to you

The only thing I can say is...... why didn't you wait until we could all watch and laugh with you? Warrior's are not as fast as everything brags about, while still fun I might add. I have not a doubt that a HD can out run a warrior in the right hands.

Well I'm glad you're not calling me a liar because if there's one thing I can't stand it's a liar. And I'm not one. Like I said, it may be a little hard for some of you to swallow, but... grab a bag of straws and suck it up.

My Warrior before Speedstar would usually pull similar to Screaming Eagle 103 with a lighter rider. Now my friend's Street Glide - built to a 110 with lots of performance components , and heavier rider load by about 80 lbs _ runs about neck and neck with mine. That's with mine not mapped properly yet ( after Speedstar kit with ported/polished heads ).

Congrats on the win. You should have some really expensive tshirts, jackets, belts, boots, wallets, socks, bandanas and underwear made to commemorate the event. Oh, wait. . .
