The 'rubber' cannot take the heat. I'll do a search for criteria 'tree'+'powder' and see what comes up. There have been plenty of conversations over the years.

Added: I even tried ADVANCED search for criteria 'triple tree' 'powder coat' (show individual posts) and got little of use. Surprised. There must be better criteria, any thoughts?

I did a google search from outside the forum. Used criteria: 'powder coat triple tree, road star warrior' and had better luck.

can they be removed?

  • YES - They can be pressed out & reinstalled when done properly.
can the rubber hold 400 degrees of heat?

  • NO - The riser bushings cannot withstand the paint bake cure oven temperature.
thank for the help.
