My name is Dave and am a brand new Warrior owner. Just got an '06 blue w/flames with 1400 miles on 4/23/07. It came with a Roadhouse megaphone slip-on muffler along with the stock can. A small Memphis Shades shield was included also. I already changed to a Memphis Shades Bigshot sportshield for more protection. I sold a V* 1100 that I had set up pretty comfortable. The Warrior really runs a whole lot better. Much smoother on the highway. I'm a tech. for a Buick, Pontiac, GMC dealer so I like to mess with the bike alot. I look forward to hearing all the ideas on this forum. Happy to get to know all of you.

Welcome to the best **** forum on the net! Since you like to tinker may I make a suggestion... stay out of the Gallery unless you either A) have money to burn or B) Let someone else hold your wallet while you are perusing. There is a virus going around and its called ModFever. Be Careful or you might just get bit! /emoticons/emotion-1.gif

Thanks guys, Hey Rob, I know what you mean about gaurding your wallet. I put way too much money in my old V* 1100. It was fun though. I'm pretty happy with the performance of this bike. I don't ride that aggressively so I don't need super power. It already has so much more than the 1100. I'll use some Deep Woods OFF to keep the bug away. Thanks again.

Good luck with that bugs off thing. Think you can escape the lure of the BAK. Just give in to one little change and you're done for. Welcome to the hood.

I don't know. The Vbak does look tempting. That big old air box under the tank looks like a pain. Does the Vbak cause alot of intake noise? Guys put pods on their Vstars and complained of noise.
