I currently have an '05 Interceptor. Good bike...but I test rode a Warrior last Summer and absolutely loved it. I'm definitely trading. Question...I occassionally see brand new 06's on Ebay for around $8500 (which seems pretty cheap for a bike that lists for over $12k). They seem to always be the red with the racing stripes. Did that paint scheme not sell well? Just wondering why the red ones seem so cheap. I'm actually leaning towards a silver '07. But, if I can get an '06 red for 4k less, might be cheaper to get the '06 and have it painted. Thoughts?

I got my 05' midnight for $9,999 the dealer just wanted to get rid of it and make room for the new models.... I think that is what alot of dealers are doing now with there old stock...putting it on ebay for what it cost them, just to make room... u will love the bike tho...and just so u know there are good deals all over the place on warriors...

Welcome Vietz2, you sure do need to get a Warrior. I think it was a coincidence that those bikes happen to be the red. You best chance to get a great deal is to look for a left over 06 brand new. The deals will be out there. Good luck and don't forget to let us know when you get your Warrior.

Thanks for the info fellas. ekmaint...I'm not sure how that would look. I would think the stripes would have to be too narrow to fit on the fenders. But, what do I know. I'm definitely keeping my eye out for a good deal. Thanks again!

Sometimes the dealers are just trying to unload them to make room for more new stock. Local dealler near me had a 06 Warrior on sale for $9500, I think. Also I think the Red Warriors aren't as fast as the other Warriors - lmao - or that's what I've heard. If you find good deal you won't be sorry.

welcome and ya you do!!! gotta get a warrior that is.
Tell ya what, bottom line is you will pay what you feel its worth. I would try to sell you bike outright 1st. Put it out ont he front lawn all spiffy and shined up this coming spring for "bike fever season". Get every penny you can for it based on what YOU feel its worth. Then start you warrior shopping. If you should come across a warrior you absolutely love, put some money to hold it til you sell your bike if the seller will work with you.

Also, color/excessories matters BIG TIME to me. If you can buy a preowned warrior that has some of the mods already on it I would go that way. This way you have some of the more popular mods already installed and paid for. Ya, you might pay a little more for the preowned bike up front, but in the long run you'll be ahead of the game in terms of mods.

That brand new warrior sitting on the showroom floor is nice, BUT, for me I had to look beyond the showroom and into this sites gallery to look at the AFTER pictures. After the mods that is. Lowered, fatty, pipes, bars, er er er er er!!!!!!!!!

Look through the classifieds on this site, and the gallery. You may just find your warrior for sale in here!!!!

have fun and welcome again!

I believe there is still 750 incentive from Yamaha, they are making money. I looked on ebay and cycletrader, ended up finding one about 60 miles from home. Also, be sure and consider dealer added fees. Most of them in my area add shipping and labor as seperate fees and a paperwork fee. Turns out it was pretty easy to get the shipping and labor removed from the price.

Good luck

WHAT!? You mean there are people out there who don't own a Warrior!? [:0]

HAHAHAHAHA!![/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

Vietz2,

All I can say is that you won't be disappointed once you get your Warrior. I absolutely LOVE mine![^] In my opinion, it's the best [email protected] performance cruiser out on the market today. And any other day, as well...

As for the red Warriors...According to some they are supposed to be the fastest Warriors. But, it looks like they aren't the fastest ones that sell...[/emoticons/emotion-5.gif] Personally I think the Midnight Warriors are the fastest...And if you're looking for one of those, you better grab up one quick if you do find one because they go quick.

Anyway best of luck with you search for the Warrior of your dreams!

Come to the dark side...Come to the dark side...

Welcome!! I think blue is the best (and fastest), but I have seen the 06 red with the stripe and it looks very cool. Kinda remids me of a muscle car like a Camaro. You won't be disappointed no matter what color you get or how much you pay for it.

I just got mine - two weeks ago. 9290 midnight '06 - Honda East, Maumee - Ohio, I was totally impressed with the way they handled my business.
