Just bought a 2002 with only 1,400 miles on it - Titanium in color!
Mostly factory except for the Mustang touring saddle ($600 worth NEW which is for sale if someone wants it as I have the stock saddle also) and the 2 into 1 VH Pro Pipe.

2 QUESTIONS:

A. Is everyone in agreement that the PCS is the better loweting kit than the Baron link replacement? Or is the "flip n' grind" the stock link just as good as eitheer of these (defintiekly cheaper but I have hear mixed reviews about premature shock wear)?

B. What is the best way to deal with the rear directionals and the vast array of "fender elimination kits" avauilable?

HOPE TO GET A FEW MODS IN BEFORE BIKE WEEK AT DAYTONA - - LET ME KNOW IF YOU ARE GOING SO I CAN RIDE ALONG AND MEET A FEW MEMBERS!

Great forum site,
Dan

Congrats on the Warrior and welcome to the 4m.On lowering links ,check out a mamber here ,ram396 , he makes a good adjustable lowering kit as good or better than PCS for a lower price.About the rear signals , all I can say is try the search function because there are so many different types out there.

Hey Dan, nice ride selection! And low miles...that's a great find. I agree with messx03, there are a TON of options for cleaning up the rear-end (and no one say toilet paper - that would be a baaaad joke - funny, but baaaad).

I've been doing some research, as I also need to clean up the fender, and I've been looking at Barons Warrior Rear License Plate (https://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BA-3150WR) which allows you to either use the stock signals, or use some of their Bullet Market Lights (https://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=BA-3400-01) - just as a quick FYI. Do a search and you'll find references for many options.

Rock on and enjoy the ride!

Welcome to the forum.
If your going to do any riding that is over an hour in the saddle you will want to keep that Mustang seat. It is one of the most comfortable seats for the Warrior. The stock seat gets real uncomfortable after an hour.
I'm not sure about the lowering kit, mine was lowered when I bought it. As far as the fender cleanup get the one from Yamaha and only install the top part of it.

Welcome Dan, and congrats on getting the fastest year Warrior. Flip N Grind is just as good as PCS, and as far as rear turn sigs, I'd go with an integrated tail light. I have the one by Custom LED. There are a few kits out there that are all good. Clear Alternatives makes one, although it's not very bright. MD Wright also makes a good one.

Here's the link to where I got my tail light:

Welcome fellow 02 Warrior.

I have the PCS kit. It looks great, dropped right around 2 inches. Pretty cheap too. Only downside, unadjustable.

I went w/ the DIY mudflap chop. Added some pro-one sigs & a plate ring. $40, done.

Enjoy the bike.

Dan Welcome. An 02 with 1400 miles, great find and yes 02 TI's are best. I agree with the others, don't sell the Mustang seat untill you put some long trips on the stocker. The seat was one of my first mods and I haven't regreted it one bit.
