A beautiful day here in KY. I roll my bike out of the garage like I have done time and time again. Started it up step back into the garage to get my jacket and helmet on when I hear a sickening crunch. I turn around and there lays my warrior on its side. Still running. I thought it should have died instantly, but it ran for about 5 seconds. I picked it up fearing the worst. But all I have damage wise was a bent clutch lever, and a slight bend in the handlebars, and a few scratches in the rear signal light. I got a set of bars from my brother he is running the tt drags. I bought a new clutch lever at the stealer. My rear sig? I may post in the classifieds as wtb later.

I did not want to post topic as warrior down, since mine was just a little dumb act on my part. Those warrior down topics sends a chill through me.

I had a winner. Had the old honda CB550 out and pulled up to a light. Put my foot down only to find a crushed hub cap. The weight shifted over to that foot and the bike and I went down with me doing the "Big Split". The guy in the car behind me was laughing as it reminded him of the old skit from Laugh-in.(guy on trike stops and falls over). Hard to feel cool after that. At least he helped me get the bike off the ground.

i had a complete mind "fart" stepped off the bike, and never put the stand down

the bike was perfect, my twisted black and blue ankle was not

best part? it wasnt my bike, my friend john and i traded off and we were pulling up to my house, i dropped it right in front of him....[:0]

Don't feel bad. When my bike was only two weeks old, I backed it out on the driveway to wash it, forgot to put the kickstand down and me and the bike went down so fast I was on my back with the bike on top of me, like an upsidedown turtle. First I looked around to see if anyone saw and then I looked around for help! Finally managed to squirm out and somehow picked her back up by myself. Almost no damage!

A buddy of mine hopped on his bike at work one day and started it up, put up the kickstand and took off out of the parking space....OOPS...He forgot to unlock the steering lock. I forget what kind of bike it was but the lock was down on the neck, not integrated with the ignition.....Bonus, the owner of the company was watching him leave....

That'll hurt your pride.
