The Speedstar and Stage IV kits for all intents and purposes are the same thing when talking about the Warrior. I think the only difference between the new ('03) and old ('02) Stage IV kits are the exhaust (two into two vs. two into two with single, outer megaphone looks like a two into one).

 

That's correct, but the airscoop has changed slightly as well (only optics). Some parts might be manufactured in new places but that's it. I myself am running the 02 kit and bought the 03 pipe.

 

Thanks Guys. I found a dealer that had one stage IV kit left on the shelve. He offered it up to me for $1800.00. I couldn't say no. I'll figure out how to pay for it later. I don't know if it has the newer exhaust or not, but I don't care for the look of the earlier style stage IV exhaust.

Do you know if I can run my pro pipe with the stage IV kit without losing too much if I don't want to use the older stage IV exhaust? Assuming that's what's in the kit. I do like the newer stage IV exhaust so I'm hoping it's a newer kit.

The 02 SpeedStar Pipe is pretty much worthless. You will be better off with the Propipe vs. the SSpipe. Now, if you had the SSPipe that Frankenstein is running, (03?) that is one sweet looking set up! If it not cost soooooooooo much $$$$$ I would purchase one for my Warrior.

 

Hey Darkstar, talk to Richie about it. I asked him what he thought about the Rhinehearts compared to the stage 4 pipe and he said there was hardly any difference. He told me he could sell it for $425.(check with him again to make sure though) I thought that was cool considering the Yammi shop around here wouldn't budge on the price. I know you would need another custom map but this pipe is something you just dont see everyday. Hopefully Uncle Sam will send me a nice refund this year.
