There isa kit that eliminates the rear plate and tail lights. Its just a piece of sheetmetal that hold under the brake light and the plate then hangs from that on a angle. You might be able to make somthing like that of your own. Just make sure you take a good look at the bolt patterns so you know where to cut them on the piece of sheet metal.

Do you want to cut the rear inner fender 'mudflap' so your license plate mounts higher on the rear fender?

One of these how-to links is for a site that is migrating and the pics are not there right now.

You can find the occasional Yamaha Inner Fender Eliminator Kit for the Warrior on Ebay for $20.

Its part# STR-5PX82-00-00

You really only need the top half of the kit, which eliminates the rear red reflector and plate light. The tail light illuminates okay.

When you see the Redhorse mod site, if the pics are still not migrated, maybe PM him from inside RSW.com and let him know, he's a nice guy and has been very helpful from the beginning.

Hope this helps.

Well, I got under the fender and unbolted the whole assembly. I pulled the tail light out with it, too. Then I removed the turn signals and hacksawed the bulk of the stuff I didn't want anymore out of the way. I went to the benchgrinderand cleaned it up, so you can't see any mess. Then I just reinstalled the tail light assembly. It was simple, and it really shows off the rear tire!

You can pickup a side mount license plate holderon Ebay for25-50 bucks, curved or flat, lighted or not.

How did you mount your turn signals?
