any of you guys have the performance edge side mount license plate bracket? you have any problems with it cracking by the bolt holes? i am on my second one and it is cracking again. i like the look of the mount but it sure doesnt hold up well. i think i will try and weld a gusset to strenghten it a bit.

I have one and no problems yet. I have not had it for very long though had one on there before and when my bike got ran over (it was parked luckily I was not on it) it fell right on that side and the mount actually prevented alot of damage. As for welding it sounds like a good idea to me.

i've had the paint/powdercoat crack, but not the actual bracket. have had it for about 2 years.
