I would like your opinion on a used Warrior, to see if you think it's a deal or not. It is a 2002 w/9000 miles on it and a ton of goodies:

V&H 2 into 1
PC
GSXR 1000 Front End
Big Bore Kit: Bored to 1783cc w/112 horsepower
SS Barnet Cables
CP Punisher Handlebars
and more I'm sure...

He is asking $8699...what do you think?

I paid $7100 for my '02 with 3900 miles in Jan of this year but the only mods mine had were the V&H Big shots and drag bars. sound like this one has a lot more

Welcome to the forum!
That sure sounds like a quite a rocket ship.
I'll bet if you look under the seat you will find a Dynojet PC-3 controller. If the custom map was done right it should be scary fast. It's definitely been modded for speed and if that's your thing it is sure to please. I'd take her for a long ride, then I'd ride a different Warrior. If she casts her spell on you, make your best deal.

I bought an '02 this spring.
The only goody was a corbin 2-up seat.
It had 3700 miles and I payed $8k for it.
It is over list, but I am so glad that I got it!

hey man on the warrior i just bought mine aand i paid 8000.00 for it and it is an 02 with 6400 miles bubs jug huggers exhaust and a stage 1 kit so it sounds like you are getting a pretty good deal to me good luck with it.....[^] soljr

That is not that many miles plus when was the engine redone? Thats when the miles should start.. I would like to see the dyno for the 112 hp however..??..

high?..how much would u have paid 4 the big bore kit and 112 hp? plus other xtras high?and only 2,000 mi a year...it's ur choice and ur money..it would be mine if i were in the market..good luck

If you want to take your time, keep an eye on the classifieds in this forum. You can find some pretty sweet deals sometimes. Different bikes post all the time, some almost brand new for quite a few thousand off.

It's a fair price not a steal, but I dont think you will loose money on it if you buy it and dont like it. 112 hp! Hold on tight

Is it me, or has anyone else NOT heard of this mod before? R-1 front end I can believe.. but never heard of a Gixxer front end.

I haven't heard of it either. All I can say is that the gentleman selling the bike is a service manager at a local Suzuki dealership.

Chances are the previous or individual selling the Warrior is more than likely a member on this forum. Ask him or ask the dealer who the previous owner is and ask him about the forum and inquire if he was a rswarrior member on this site.....

Of that is the Warrior I think it is. It is well worth the money he is asking for it.....and it would be an R1 front end.

I bought my 2002 1 month ago from a dealership. It had 9100 miles and I gave $8500. I was fortunate enough to meet the original owner the day I took delivery and we've been cooresponding ever since. My bike came with a boat of mods. Check out my profile. All the mods were already on the bike. I thought it was a good deal. Besides, I'm in the car business and a good deal is a state of mind. I love my bike as it sits and probably would have paid more. I live in the land of Harley's(bout 60 min from Milwaukee)and there's not one around that can touch my Warrior.
