Afermarket exhaust installed, pleanty of room. Now what? The wife's nees are in her ears and not in a good way... 2 inches lower would do the trick. Any aftermarket products out there?
I just ordered the Yamaha ones myself. #STR5PX57-40-00 They say that they will fit with stock pipe. I have Big Shots so I have much more room. But haven't seen a better part.
Try running some searches on this site. There are plenty of threads for this subject. Seen write ups for both after market ones and custom ones. Yammy kits do fit with stock pipe. I have them. Moves them 2" down and about 1 1/2" forward. It helps but could be better. If you are not running stock pipe then you have more room to move down if you do a custom one.
I made my Warrior a bit more comfy for my wife. I added the passenger peg lowering kit and a Mustang Vintage Tour seat. She's happy, plus the seat is great for the rider too. That stock seat is not comfortable after an hour of riding.
Can anyone let me know how much the relocation kit moves the pegs from stock postition? I would like to know what is working for you in my next design.....
Maybe this will help as reference.
This is the stock peg location
This is the one the last guy posted made by stainless
This is the Yamaha pegs
Before all of this was available, we bought v-star 650 pegs and flipped them. Others flipped the stock pegs with a little modifications.
There are also a couple of vendors that sell brackets I believe kuryakyn is one of them.
I like those bucky685. I noticed it looks like a cover that went over the old holes and then 2 red bolts? is that part of it. How much for a set, if you can?
I will be making more as soon as I get the blanks back from the shop , please check out my gallery for photos , I can make them any height ,and move them foward or behind the swingarm piviot point , the next batch will be all 316 stainless .
Thanks
Dave
I have the yamaha relocating brackets.I swithed them around from side to side so that they are down and back. She is 5'1" and said her legs were to far out when they were forward, now that they are backwards she loves them.
I just want to see the dang pictures and need more posts....
