I want to use the PCS lowering kit on my 02 Warrior, but am a little concerned about the tire rubbing. I am 6'2" 250 lbs. Does anybody have any advice or is there no need to worry?

Not that I am very proud of it but I am heavier than 250 and only rubbed once before new spring and that was due to a big pothole. I wouldn't worry and if it is a problem add the stiffer spring.
hey biz, how du you ensure that both adjustable linkages are set exactly to the same length? are there any indicators?
Its pretty simple, you just count the number of turns on each one and make sure the are the same. Or you can simply put them side by side before mounting. Or using a ruler. There are no indicater on the links.
I weight 260 pounds. Put the PCS kit on and had no problems. Did a flip and grind for a little more lowering and the tire would rub on hard bumps. Gave a few more twist to the adjustment and have not rubed since. With just the PCS you will have no problems with the fender rubing.
This is good information. I weigh 260 and was concerned about rubbing with a small woman on board (REAL short ride). I will order the PCS ASAP. Thanks guys. [8]
With the PCS installed, I'm at 210 and my wife is at 115, bottomed out ONCE going over railroad tracks at high speed. Other than that, the only thing to consider is less lean angle.
Thanks for all the info. You guys are awesome at helping out a fello Warrior. Looks like the PCS is the way to go. I'm sure i'll need some more help as I have some mods planned for the winter, but I know where to ask the questions. Thanks, Wolf
Well I'm 252 and did the old flip and grind to lower mine and no rubbing what so ever. I don't know what that kit is made of but mines pretty low and no rubbing. Check out my pic in the gallery.
did the pcs and the only time it would only rub is when I had my gf on and we went down a drive way, put the stiffer spring on and never had a problem.
