I have a set of bars to go on. they are a few inches taller and the width is different. is there a set method of measuring for the extended throttle cables?
I would prefer to measure all of it out and get my parts sitting on the table so I don't have the bike apart for 6 weeks. I know I need extended brake and clutch cables. will the brakes need to be extended as well?

Best suggestion that I have is put new bars on and at ur riding position and than see how everything will fit and at that point you can see what needs to be extended and measure everything.....

Just put on new bars
Get measurements
Put back on old bars
Order the cables n such.
And ride when ever possible
Till new parts show up ..

That's what I did.. .
