Hi everyone! Thanks for this site!

I am hopefully going to get a 2006 Midnight Warrior in the next week or so. I have a dealer tracking one down right now, and we've already talked a little turkey on the phone. Seems like there might be a deal to be had on a remaining '06 for me. I haven't ridden the bike, but from magazines, internet reviews and lurking here for a couple weeks, I am smitten.

I learned on cruisers but the last 5 years I've been on a Ducati 620 Monster Dark. WAAAAYYY diferent ergos, not to mention weight, but I think it's time to upgrade and cruise again.

I look forward to learning more and chatting with you all soon.

Welcome and congratulations on buying a great bike. I have ridden all sorts of bikes and find most cruisers a bit lacking in performance and handling. The Warrior is different. You can cruise or have a more spirited ride. It's up to you. Enjoy.

Thanks everybody for the warm welcome!

I'm REALLY excited. I just have to remember to act cool when the time comes for the final deal. I feel pretty prepared. Of course I want the best deal possible... I hope all the stars align right and the purchase goes smoothly.

Hi Mark1,

Yeah, pretty sure the Midnight is the way to go. The first time I saw it I was impressed, and a little shocked at just how BIG that muffler is. (The muffler has grown on me, and it's easy to upgrade anyways). My current bike is black too, a Monster Dark, so I am partial to black. Also, it makes this particular cruiser sportier imo in black.

I rode to work today, I sure would like to keep both bikes... but then I would be able to put like nothing down, plus I only have one space in a garage. In addition, 2 bikes and a car are kinda overkill for a single guy who will be taking the train to work starting next month. Too bad I'm not wealthy!
