Hey guys, I just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm selling my original front and rear 240 setup next week on a 7 day auction on ebay. Please check it out and let me know if you have any questions. This is the setup I had on when I took this picture and the wheels have been in storage for about year now with no use! Thanks!
Here's the post description:
Custom 240 Kit for the
RoadStar Warrior. Go wide! Most will agree that this is the perfect
tire setup for the Warrior. The rear wheel was done by Kosman and
finished very well with no visible welds. I had them do a semi-gloss
powder coat for durability and cleanability on both the front and rear.
Just a couple of wipes and they are clean! No polishing! I also did a
custom pinstripe with a unique Yamaha logo which can be removed..
Imperfections are only noticeable from about a foot. Tires are
included and are Metzeller ME880 Marathon 130/60/18 front and 240/40/18
on the back. Front has about 40% left and the rear is about 75% for
tread wear. Front wheel has a stripped brake rotor bolt on each side
but I've never had a problem with it. I only have one rotor with the
front wheel as I'm still using the other one on my single-sided setup.
Rear includes hub but not the pulley. Bearings are intact and were
swapped out with new ones with the upgrade. Swingarm only needs a
slight modification for the 240 which is very easy to do. Once
finished, just bolt up and go. Front is a stock Warrior Wheel width
while the rear has been widened from 7.0x17in to 8.5inx18in. The lip on
most Kosman wheels have the rounded edge to them. This wheel retains
the stock lip that matches the front wheel. Cost to do this kit
yourself with the stock wheels would run about $1700-$2000.
