I know my warrior like noone else.

However, I am at a loss to identify
another's machine when meeting them on the road.
I find it is kinda cool and makes them
feel good about what they got if I can at least
ID it instead of asking the stupid question, "What is it?"

For a limited time www.eatontown.net will have a
Motorcycle Review Screensaver to download.
It will be there untill I run out of my download quota.

It is like flashcards to me to help ID
other machines. I can't be the only idiot on the road
or are they all just trying to kill me? /emoticons/emotion-1.gif

It is 13 MB and helped me.....

if your interested.

Carl

PS.
My quota is a bit limited.
Maybe the sysop here will host the file?
Just an idea.

You just never know what's 'piggy backing' those files when they install onto your hard drive.

Brit,

I'm with you on this one.

carleaton,

its not that we don't commend your work, its just that you are relatively new to the site and we dont know what the file contains. From our standpoint, its just not safe to download it.

I agree on being cautious of
downloading .exe files.

Scan it first with your antivirus before executing it.
A good firewall like Norton or ZoneAlarm
will inform you of any outgoing attempts to
connect to the internet for "further instructions"
and can be locked to not connect to anything by them.

I didn't detect any of this.
If you do detect anything - let me know.

Norton isn't going to catch spyware or malware. (google those terms if your not familiar) That's what you usually get with screensavers. If you want a bike screensaver, save a bunch of warrior JPGs from here and set up XPs picture screensaver to rotate through them. MUCH safer.

Also, everyone should run spybot S&D and AdAware at least weekly to catch/protect against spyware and malware.

I'm very cautious when it comes to downloading.
