so I saw this aution on ebay... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/New-Muzzy-Exhaust-for-Yamaha-Road-Star-Warrior-Drag_W0QQitemZ180099641673QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item180099641673

I never knew Muzzys had a 2-2 so I checked the website and the dropdown doesn't list it BUT when searching for the part number listed in the auction I came up with this: http://search.atomz.com/search/?sp-q=1016-00055&sp-a=00061bb8-sp00000000

come to find out you can buy a BRAND NEW set of these 2-2 Dragstyle Muzzys directly from Muzzys for $249 with FREE 3-day shipping.

quote:Give your cruiser that fat look with these new Muzzys Dragstyle pipes. A performance enhancing 2 into 2 design with hidden crossover, adds power, great sound and hot looks to your big twin. These pipes feature bright chrome 2 1/2" heat shields over chrome 1 3/4" head pipes and polished billet aluminum tips. Installation is a snap, the price is right, and your Kawasaki, Yamaha, or Honda Cruiser will finally have legendary Muzzy power with the right look!

Looks like it could be a good deal for someone though i know nothing of the Muzzys 2-2 systems and I couldn't find anything here posted in the past.

ok, just got off the phone with Muzzys and it is no longer available through them so scratch the $249 [B)]

I did verify that they did in fact make a 2-2 system for a Warrior so the ebay auction looks to be your only shot if your loking for a set [/emoticons/emotion-6.gif]

The pic is on a Menie I think. I do believe they are full length pipes though. I don't do any heavy cornering so I'm not too worried. I will deffinately post pics after I install them. I was really looking to get a set of Vance and Hines Big Shots, but I coulden't pass up this price. If I don'r like them I have a buddy who has an 04 who will more than likely buy them from me as all sals are final on this auction.

the full length shot was for the Kawi. Judging by the pic of the actual pipes for the Warrior, they look to be shorties like the rineys, etc.

But hey, stepped headers AND crossovers on shorties? Sounds promising....I wonder why Muzzy stopped making them?
Somebody get some pics and dyno of it pls!

I got the pipes, and they are beautiful, and yes they are kinda short. They have a crossover chamber just like the V&H pipes. Billit aluminum tips. Sweet!!!!!

well slap them on and let's see what they look like? Beter yet, get a before and after dyno - Muzzy says they actually make power!

Well, as soon as I get my digital camera back I'll post pics. The pipes come to about the middle of the rear tire so I guess they aren't that short afterall. I noticed much better power top end (no dyno sorry.) The bike just felt like it was finally running better, and they sound perfect.

I was running a Bub slip on megaphone with the stock headpipe. I have the Cobra fi2000r fuel processor so the ECU is automatically bumped. One cool thing is that you dont have to remove the first elbow out of the rear cilinder to install these pipes. They are designed to reuse that part sou they go on fast. Just mount the heatshields and boom!!!

nice... good to know... im mechanically DEclined... so i may have to seek some help in the install.. i'd love to tackle it myself for the sense of accomplishment but if i ruined the pipes in the process i would be really p'oed at myself... so i just may have to bump the ecu.. ill have to do a plug check once i get her on...
