Hey gang - my warrior has only 2100 miles on it, but I just noticed today that when I squeeze the clutch and "roll" on the bike, there is a sqeaking noise that is coming out of my transfer case on the left side of the bike. Doesn't happen when I am riding - or at least I can't hear it, but when I depress the clutch to shift, or ride it to a stop, I can hear it. Also, when I am sitting in place WITH THE BIKE IN GEAR - doesn't happen in neutral, and I roll the bike in place it makes the same noise.

Not real loud - I just started being able to hear it when i was riding without a helmet today.

Any thoughts?

Your transfer case is on the right side of the bike, the clutch and your drive pulley are on the left so I would first check that your drive belt is adjusted correctly. When the belt becomes loose or if it's too tight it is very common to hear squeeking out of it. 99% of the Road Stars and Warriors that customers bring in because of "squeeking" is incorrect belt tension, after we adjust them the squeek is gone.

Ok - you are right - shows how much I know. The noise is coming from the left side where the clutch cable connects to the engine.
Also, there is something else that I didn't correctly state in the first message - the noise comes when the clutch is engaged in NEUTRAL - not when the bike is put into gear. Once I pop the bike into gear, the noise stops and the noise is only present when the clutch is engaged.

So, with those corrections - any suggestions? I am planning on doing the bike run this weekend, and don't want to take a chance on screwing something up.

LOL. Thanks - I ended up getting my bike back and did the Toy Run today. AWESOME. Easily over 20,000 bikes, it was incredible.

They never could find the noise in my clutch box. They pulled the whole thing apart - nothing. Put it back together - runs fine, no noise. They had told me it was a busted gear tooth rattling around. I think they just wanted to rebuild the bike.
