Need help installing BAK

Hey all,
I'm in the process of installing a DIY VBAK.
I thought I was finished, but realized that I have 2 hoses that I'm not sure what to do with.

One is on the left side that connects to the T connector. The top line of the T goes to the gas tank, the front one is OK, but the one that used to be connected to the air box is hanging.

The other hose comes from the top of the rear cylinder from the right side. The hose comes around and used to plug into the back of the air box.

What do I do with these 2 hoses????

The one coming off of the rear head is you crank case breather. You can put a small air filter on it right there but you're better off running a hose down to the bottom of the bike and attaching the filter there, mmmm cleaner and quieter. As for the other hose you described, i think it's one of the tank vents. plumb it in with the others at the neck of the frame where the hoses run down to the bottom.

When you say 'plumb it in' do you mean to leave it open and run it down the front of the frame?

What happens if I leave the vent hose open in the rear....will it harm anything?

If you leave it over the engine then it will spit oil from time to time, on top of the engine, making for a mess. That's why many off us use a hose and work it down to the bottom. I zip tied mine to the swing arm.

For the one that goes to the tee, just cap off the tee or replace it with a straight.

If you leave the rear hose open you'll get dirt in your crankcase. Put a filter on it.

What Modit said...remove airbox hose and plug tee or use L joint for tank breather hose.
