Its more than likely the connection on the tps wire.. Also check your battery cable bolt.. Install it the way listed below..

wow, this is getting contagious!...sorry to hear about the stalling. Good imput from Ohiomike and I'll throw in a thought as well.

Your bike is in 06, so lets assume for the moment the TPS is fine and set the way it is supposed to be from the factory. That means your bike at idle should be reading ZERO % throttle. You can verify this my hooking up the laptop, firing up the PC3 software and start the bike. Your % throttle at IDLE should be ZERO. Update us and let us know what %throttle you are reading after the bike is warmed up and we'll go from here.

Just a note of clearification on my reply.
Remember, the TPS from the factory is set to ZERO % throttle at idle.

When we add the PC3, we have to sych the PC3 to the TPS meaning the % throttle needs to read ZERO whether reading from a meter directly attached to the TPS or the PC3 software. So we are assuming the TPS is set properly. The PC3 you can check yourself with the laptop/PC3 software.

Make sence?? again, just checking another possibility here. Also, what is your rpm at idle?? shoudl be between 950 and 1100ish.

reinstalled power commander - the recommended way (per frankenstein)-got it up and running, checked every connection and i think its kosher, reading is "0" @ 0% throttle - cold start the beast, cuts out again - went to a a buddy of mine who's a wrench monkey - says bad gas/water in tank - added david lyles ethanol fuels (estimated 2.5 gallons in my tank, so, added 2.5 oz of fuel additive - trying to finish my gas in tank today - hopefully tommorow i'd be pumping fresh gas and hopefully my cold starting problem would go away - thanks everybody for the help - got my fingers crossed this time - thanks again
