Hello Fellow RS Warrior Riders.
I first like to say that this is a great forum! I like to introduce myself. My name is Keiichi but go by my abreviated name Kich. I live in California in the city of Culver City which is part of Los Angeles County. I have been riding a 1983 Suzuki GS1100ESG for the last 20 years which I love very much but it started having some problems. When I saw a RS Warrior for the first time, I knew this was going to be next bike. In July 2006 I finally picked up a brand new Warrior for a steal of a price. Being use to a mid controls on my GS and only being 5'4",the bike was a bit difficult to ride with the forward controls. Since then, I have installed a set of floorboards, a 2" lowering kit and a heel toe shifter assembly which made a just right. Now I can at least get the base of both feet planted on the ground when I come to a stop and I no longer have to stretch my toes to reach the gear shifter. I have not seen or heard of anyone put a heel toe shifter on their warrior yet and hope to be one of the first to do so. If anyone is interested on how it was done, let me know.
Take care,
