Just got a Titanium 02 used from the dealer....OOOOOOOf what a bike. Far cry from the 350 enfield i am used to! Bike is stock other than handlebars and grips

Had a couple different questions...

Your guidance is appreciated.

1) The bike has a rattle in the front left above 3k rpm in second. Can't seem to figure out what it is. Any suggestions. Sounds like the turn signal but its not.

2) Any suggestions for dampening vibrations

3) I like the way the stock pipe looks. Any way to increase sound without changing pipes?

4) To windshield or not to windshield? Does anyone make a removable for the warrior?

5) What is the most effecient way to turn her? weight shift, grip press or both?

6) What mods do you suggest. I'd like to keep expenditure minimal at this point...

7) At this point I cannot imagine what the end of the throttle feels like. I imagine i'm giving her 50% max. What happens when one goes all the way??

welcome to the best forum on the web and the Warrior madness!
use the search feature here and you'll find just anything you want regarding mods for the bike...most owners ditch the stock exhaust first though...I know I did. Vance and Hines propipe, the Yamaha Speedstar pipe are two of the choices...there are literaly dozens based on what you want out of the bike.

The rattle you hear might be the headlight assembly, or could be something else loose. Go over your bike and make sure everything is tight. use blue loctite on anything you remove and replace/retorque.

You can get handlebar weights for the bars to help with vibrations. ...do a Google search for Manic Salamander and you'll see. Also check the torque on the bolts under the triple tree...they shouldn't be any tighter than 29 ft/lbs I believe. I've filled handlebars with fine sand and it's worked wonders for me...just remember to plug the holes before you slap the grips and controls back on!

WIndshields are another option...Yamaha Boulevard, Memphis Shades Hellcat, Windvest, National Cycle are a few brands some of the guys and gals here prefer. Keeping the wind off the chest and neck/shoulders makes for a more comfortable ride, and if wearing a full-face helmet you keep the wind out of your eyes and off the top of your head. All the windshields mentioned are removable with minimum effort and time as well.

If you want to do some mods, most ditch the stock exhaust, get a Big Air Kit (search for ChurchKey's BAK here) and don't spend too much money....for around $500. - $700 you get a better performing bike and haven't broken the bank. HC pistons, big bore kits, cams, bigger injectors, Power Commander or other fuel management modules can also be added depending on what you want to do with your ride.

Leaning is the best way to turn...and the Warrior will lean a LOT before you scrape your pegs...I try and stay firmly planted in my seat...God knows there's enough cagers out there trying to knock me out of it!

I haven't explored full throttle yet....some guys have. I know it has gobs of torque and will snap you back at half throttle....hang on tight! I'm assuming that some wormhole opens up somewhere and you emerge in a different place and time.

check the forum here and look at other riders bikes...get some ideas and arrive at your own concept for your bike...enjoy!!!

The rattle is the front fender remove the brake line holder attachment to the fender. later models fixed this problem through design. The Vibration? Its a VTWIN Enjoy it.. Iam goint to be real honest here. Take the Safety course. Iam not saying anything negative Ive taken it three times with different friends and learned something new every time. You sound a little new to bike riding with the turning comment and this bike is big 1700cc. Best mods for the budget Pipes, BAK and a ebay corbin seat.. Shield www.clearview.com You will still need to buy the yamaha shield brackets.. Good luck and welcome to the site

Welcome to club!! This is a great site with lots & I mean LOTS of helpful info. In regards to some of your questions:
1. I had a rattle in my front end. When I had the triple trees changed out, my mechanic found a loose bolt on the upper tree.
2. Not a lot can be done with the vibrations that I'm aware of. I don't know what style grips you have, go with some soft spongy one's.
3. Exhaust: I have seen pic's on this site, where someone had cut the stock baffle in half. I'm not fond of stock exhaust, but that mod did look good. Click in the LINKS tab above if want to look at slip on, there's several.
4. Not sure what style/size you want in a windshield, best to use the LINKS & take a look.
5. Turning: weight & grip.
6. Mods, this is a fun one & VERY addictive!! Most common mods to start out with for performance: A. AIS block-off. B. Power Commander. C. Exhaust. D. V-BAK intake.
Mods for style: A. Too many to list, I wouldn't even know where to start that one.
7. WooHoo, that's a fun one. There's nothing like nothing like whacking that throttle wide-open & running it through the gears. Most will have an indicated 130-135mph top end, well mine indicated 135mph.
8. I hope you enjoy the site, I know I do!! It's a great bunch of folks...Blacksinister.

When you say vibrations, do you mean at idle or riding? Make sure your idle is set for 950-1000 rpm (adjustment knob is at base of tank and gold). If you are getting vibrations riding, you may have a worn tires/low air pressure. Check both of them on a regular basis as these bikes can be hard on tires if you play. As far as windshields go, I have a mini fairing and it is okay, but you will get a lot of wind around your head area. A VBAK is probable the best mod for the money you can do, the bike really comes to life and pulls a lot harder. 1 other thing, when the tach flashes, you have hit the rev limiter and need to shift. You will find out about this the first time you really get on it hard. Also, as suggested above, take the MSF course if you haven't done to yet. BEST MOD YOU WILL EVER GET FOR YOUR MONEY!

Hi Apoorva and welcome to the site. You got some pretty detailed answers to your questions there but remember to do your own research on things if you can, the site has a pretty good search engine under the 'Forums' tab above. Ohiomike is bang on the money with his advice for your rattle IMO, this problem has been experienced by quite a few members.

Welcome to the madness Apoorva, you'll like it here.
You might want to find out if the Recall has been done.

Welcome to the Forum. My .02, the rattle I noticed was from the headlight assembly, it was where the top of the headlight latches to the the housing. While driving, be careful, but reach up and slightly push in on the top of the headlight, I noticed it went away, I found to put a very thin rubber hose between the hooks, it seems to fix it.
