I am letting my other post (Not sure what I am doing) rest now. Madman told me just start an new one-didn't matter if it wasn't motorcyle related. I am just going to use it to keep the family I have aquired on here updated with the kids.

Here goes!

We had JoJo's party today. He turned 3 last Thursday but had strep throat and the flu so we had to put the party off a week. Isn't that a lovely birthday present? lol. Anyways-he had a blast at his party today. We went to the Discovery Center here and he pitched a fit when it was time to leave. I am posting pics from it on my myspace page-Dot's Spot is the title of my page or just click here -->http://www.myspace.com/dots_spot_81.

Bryndan has outgrown his pants again!! I have had to replace his pants 3 times already this year and not from being rough on them!! He is getting so tall and doing so well in school.

As for me-I am loving my new classes. I even got to buy a new camera this semester [/emoticons/emotion-2.gif] Can't wait for it to come in so I can play with it!! How I love a good camera!! I feel about my camera what everyone here feels about their bikes. lol

Other than that-nothing new to report. I hope you guys read this post in the future and comment back-I don't want to lose touch. I will at least try to update once a month on how the kids and I are doing. I will try to not get too crazy and report once a week-haha.

Have a good weekend everyone!! DRIVE SAFE!!

Dorothy,

Glad to see that you're still going to come around and keep us all updated on your family. From what I read it looks like things are finally going to get back on track for you and your family. Although it may not seem the same at time...You have done wonderful job of handling your situation, as well as continue to put your two boys ahead of everything else. You're a shining example of what a good parent is...[^]

Hope you get your camera soon...I'm always get excited when I'm waiting for a new part to come in for my bike.[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

As for posting pictures, there is a forum here call "Anything Goes" where you can post topics and pictures that are not related to motorcycles or the Warrior. I think it would be OK to post anything you want there...Lord knows there some strange things posted in the forum...[:0][/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

Anyway...We'll see you around here...Take care!

ram-which DSLR did you get your son? I currently have the Canon Rebel XTI but am waiting on my Canon EOS 5D. Does he have the newest Photoshop out? It is CS3? You would be amazed what that program can do. The DSLRs take absolutely gorgeous pics but Photoshop can make them even more gorgeous. Also-tell him to take his pics in RAW format-if he doesn't already know that. They take "truer" pics than the jpeg format. It will pick up colors more than jpeg also. The only thing is with the RAW format-he need s to install the disc that came with the camera or the CS3 Photoshop. That is the only way they open. Some DSLRs will let you save in both formats at once-which is even better. The CS3 is expensive so what I did is bought a brand new one (don't buy used!!!) off of ebay for about a 3rd of the price. It is sooo worth the price though. HAHAHA-got sidetracked. Love talking about cameras!!!If you check out my myspace page (which I have added the link to my myspace page) and look at my pics-you can see some of my work!

I glad to hear that you are enjoying the photography classes. I know that is one of my loves that I never have time for anymore. That Canon is a great camera but this hobby can get expensive when you start with the mods (LOL). Let us know when you join the "fat ******* club" with your first 220mm or bigger lens.

I have the original 10D and got the new S5 DSLR for Christmas. What a great compact unit.

I have to go out in a little today and get some rust of my skills because I have a photo shoot for a big family get together. My cousin is the official family professional photo guru but her job is making her work the Superbowl. So I am going to borrow one of her 20Ds and a high-speed lens for the weekend so that I can use a 2 camera setup.

Enjoy the new profession.

Dorothy,

You can upload the pictures in your post...When you click reply or post new topic, you can upload the pictures there. It's pretty easy...There's a option for uploading pictures right to your post by clicking the insert image which is in the Format section within your reply box. It's the small picture icon up top of your reply box...This will insert the code to upload your picture. You'll see the code in your reply box after you hit the insert image. Then you'll add the location of your picture in-between the code and when you hit post new reply or topic. The picture will appear in your post...Sounds hard doesn't it?[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

But it's really easy and simple...

There is an easier way...Go to photobucket.com and create an account...It's FREE! Then you can upload your pictures to there which will store the pictures and you will able to use them at websites, forums, D-boards, blogs and all that stuff. Once you have uploaded them...All you have to do is open another browser and go to rswarrior.com...Log in...Now when you want to upload a picture, just go back photobucket.com, pick the picture you want to upload, click on the IMG Code, it'll automatically copy the images code, then go back to rswarrior.com, right click in your reply or topic box and click paste. The IMG code will insert into the reply box...The picture will be in code form so you won't see it until you in post reply or topic, or unless you hit preview which will allow you to see what you're about to post.

I hope I make it so you can understand...If you have any problems just let me know and I will try to help you out...

Dorthy, since you are a student, look into buying the Academic versions of software. You can get it form your school orhttp://www.academicsuperstore.com . If the software is cheaper, it is a illegal bootleg copy. And you can get them on-line for free
