Pulled both plugs tank and crankcase,replaced filter.How much oil do I need to replace? Manual says total amount 5.0L,without filter 3.7L,with filter 4.1L.I put 4.1L in ran it and it still doesn't touch the dip stick.Do I need to put the whole 5.0L in? I don't want over fill it.

It should be 5.29 qts, mine took 5 qts last oil change.[/emoticons/emotion-1.gif]

just use 5qts.. it tops the dipstick off. manuals are funny like that sometimes....

I beleave you,thats what has me confused I still have 3/4 of a liter bottle left from last oil change and I only bought 5 that time.I have a service manual and followed it step by step.

remember to add 3 quarts of oil, start and let run for a couple of minutes and then add the remainder of the oil

Christ I can even do a simple oil change anymore.I better check and see if my balls are still there!

It's not your balls, It's the bikes balls. These bikes have big ones and it takes a lot to fill it up. Just when you think its had enough, It begs for more. More HP, more Torque, more Speed, more Oil, MORE VICTOMS!!!
