Did not see a Topic for Oklahoma Riders so I will start one, I know there are a few of you out there. I maybe in Oklahoma June 25, 26. My In-Laws live in Pawhuska, and they are going to have a family thing at Heyburn Lake. So if any of you are near there and would like to meet up for a ride let me know.

Yah, Edmond is 2 1/2 hours away. I travel during the week and it is not close. However, there are two Warriors in Tulsa for sale right now I would go and check out for anyone interested.

You can always e-mail rice with the info and let him contact the sellers, then I would have the seller take the Warrior to a local Yamaha dealer and then have the Dealer send me the information on what they found and if everything was good, go from there. It would be good for the seller to have that information any way, I would be a lot more willing to buy a bike on sight if the seller had that information, but thats just me.

Anytime I can I welcome the opportunity. I am in school two weekends a month working on my Master's degree but the other weekends I am usually riding. I just got back from a 14oo mile trip to visit my daughter. Bike ran like a top.

I don't know anything about the casino's. There are some good roads out in the Wichita Mountains. If you do go eat at Meers.
I just got back from vacation myself. I went to Cozumel. Looks like I got out just in time. Just missed hurricane Wilma.

Hey James! Quite a fun road and ABSOLUTELY no traffic to speak of this time of year on weekdays at least. Its the (I think its called)
Talimena Skyway or such....Anyhow, it is about 55 miles north of Broken Bow Ok.; intercepting with Rt 259. In Oklahoma it is Rt #1 but when it crosses into Arkansas, it becomes Rt. 88 and goes into Queen Wilhelmena Park and on into the pretty little city of Mena, Arkansas. Some very nice twisties and steep grades. Although the elevation only gets to about 2600 feet, there are several places where the road climbs or descends 750 feet per mile. Excellent road surfaces. For me Broken Bow is about 225 miles away. Very well worth a couple of days to ride it.
