How lucky was I to find this forum? I had been looking at three different bikes and finally took the advice here and got the Warrior. Just picked it up this morning.

Fifty miles later..... I am very impressed.

Ah, but I finally figured out what everyone means when they say "water heater". That muffler is HUGE.

What's the remedy for that? Now before all ya'all start talking Vance & Hines, - I already have three VERY loud bikes. I would kinda like to keep this on on the quiet side. OK, not THAT quiet.

If you guys were wondering, he is referring to this post:http://www.roadhousebrand.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=RBS&Product_Code=54-300&Category_Code=Yam+SO

Its very similar, but not as bulky. Most people are going to tell you to go with the Vance & Hines or Hard Krome though [/emoticons/emotion-4.gif].

If you are looking for some nice looking pipes that aren't that loud, I think you will like V&H Big Shots with Quiet Baffles. They are not that loud, but they have a nice low rumble. You could also go with the Speedstar Pipe. Only loud when you really open her up. The Propipe from V&H is the same way.

Congtats old man! What kind did ya get? I got mine about 8 mos ago, still have the stock bazooka and planning to get a speed* pipe, but I gotta admit the stock pipe isn't as bad as when I first got her. Some guys love the look of the stocker and it is much quieter than any other.

I got the blue with gray ghost flames - 2006 model. Last one. There was a red one with a "sold" sign on it. The rest were Midnight Warriors. I think there were two of those left.

I think most aftermarket pipes are gonna be louder than stock! Big shots have optional baffles then leave her running quiet when cruising then bark when you open her up. I like that option personally. If I go for some other options I'm gonna go speedstar 2 into 1 or custom pipes.
