Hi all,

I was wondering if you know what brand are the cups Oliver used for his gauges:

They look like the Wimmer cups, welded to the bars... not sure.
If you know the part number or something similar I could use, please let me know.

Those are Wimmer cups and they're bolted on.

I got Arlen Ness cups on mine but they're pointed, they also bolt on. You would need to tap and thread the bars.

The Nessgauge cups Chris used was for2-1/16"as that's what is std with the DynoTech widebandO2install and he has 1-1/4" bars as i recall.!

The P/N you require is based on the following:

[*]Handlebar diameter
[*]Gauge diameter
[*]Top or bottom mount, for the exiting wires, introduce yet another flavor from manufacturers[/list]

The Ness gauge cups are machined to fit the specific O.D. of the bar and can be mounted with a 1/4" or M6 screw. On Chris's install he kept it all metric and used M6 Hex hd stainless bolts so he could swing a small box wrench within the cup

Here's an example of the cup: http://www.phatperformanceparts.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=AN%2DTORPEDOMNTS

Here's the install:

Thanks Alan, it helps a lot. However, I do not plan to install the cups on bars.
I will use some sort of brackets to attach them somewhere to the bike frame, where I can glimpse at easy...

I kills me to think I have to put a hole into my Carlini bars and I also want to avoid any wire exposure near bars.

I ordered 3 cups and right now, only use 1. I will eventually use another for the oil temp. I found a guage that will measeure boost and oil pressure combination. I still havent found a place to mount the second cup.
