Having your bike dynotuned at a PCIII Dynojet tuning center would be the ideal. (Cost averages around $200-300.) The next best thing is to find a map off this forum or the Dynojet website that works for a bike with the same mods (same pipes, same BAK or air filter setup)as you have. Then you might make a few edits to the map or the low/med/high range settings yourself.(Cost is free but with some trial and error involved.)

 

A custom map does include getting the bike dyno'd and tuned at a Dynojet tuning center. You can download someone elses custom map but it won't be custom to your bike. It might be close if you are lucky.

 

My custom map cost me $250. I would say to try one of our maps first and then if you feel you need to tune it more then take it in to a Dynojet shop.

 

At last, I found something that is cheaper in the UK, I can get a custom map done for £117!

It can run good and still be running lean . I had a good map on mine but it wasn't strong and smooth through the whole powerband.

 

What's Dynojet? Is it a company? Are the located pretty much everywhere? How do you find them?

 

Dynojet is a company out of the vegas area. They list shops in your area that can do the mapping for you. I believe the web sit is www.dynojet.com check them out they are very helpful with most questions.
