It's pretty straightforward. One wire to ground - attach it directly onto the bolt that the battery is grounded to. Run the remaining wires up the right side under the tank, down behind the air box (or whatever you have there) and the PCIII's plugs directly mate to the injector plugs. Unplug the (white) injector plugs and mate each of the PCIII plugs to these (don't forget to silicone!!!). Use the vampire tap onto one of the wires (yellow or gray, can't remember which but will verify when I get home). I keep my PCIII under the seat, on the left side forward - in that little alcove above to the left of the tank drybreak.

 

1 remove the seat
2 yank the tank
3 pull the shield (right side air breather)
4 install pc3 under seat fish wires through to the shield install vampire clip plug in the plugs then install shield
5 ground wire on pc3 (need good ground)
it took me 3 minutes i couldnt believe it works great

 

Instead of the vampire tap I have now soldered the PCIII TPS hookup to the YELLOW wire coming form the TPS and put shrink tubing around it. The vampire tap has given me some troubles when combined with whater and cleaning fluids. [/emoticons/emotion-6.gif]

 

Watch the injector plugs. Mine was broke and I had to drill a pieace of plastic out of it. It takes more then 3 mins but it's pretty simple. Directions are okay. Your right they do "seem" to jump around but it's easy to figure out.

 

i agree that they could have used a better method of connecting the pc111 to the injector wire. even a butt connector with shrink at both ends would have been better. we have those connectors with the shrink allready at each end but i dont know if theres enough room
