question. i'm having a difficult time inserting a link to my personal web page. i have it posted under general bike talk but it only has my email address to click on instead of the whole address. however, the same link i inserted in my gallery will work just fine when one wants to click on the whole line/link. just on the posting, it doesn't work right. what do i do??
thanx.

hmmm, that's some weird stuff. It took me a little while, but I found the topic you are talking about. And then went in to try and fix the link but it did the same thing no matter what I did. When I tried to edit your post, I could see the url you were talking about, but when you hit submit or preview, it scrambles it. My only guess is that because your web address has what looks like an email in the middle, it's freaking out the forum software. Carknee will have to take a look at it.

Here's the topic so Carknee doesn't have to find it:

to make an address like that work people need to copy and paist it onto the address bar. It is a software issue.

I suggest using a re-direct as a work around (its free).http://rsw.b4.to/ is now a link to the active topic page

An advantage of using it is that you can take a very long address and access it from a short url

The '@' symbol in tURL is preventing the forum software from changing it to a link. It is a "bug" with the software like monstrddg said.
