I been looking at changing my air intake system and I have a few questions. With the PR kit you get velocity stacks. From the pics it looks as if you have to glue them on to the TB's. Is this correct? Is that why it is flared out on one end? How is the installation and performance? Thanks for any help.

BigA,
I converted from the Barons to the PR kit. Velocity stacks are a very snug fit onto the throttle bodies......don't really need anything but they supply you with a "sealant" for installation. The PR Stacks have a lip which prevents them from going on to far..very close tolerance. Performance is good,- noticable difference. I've heard equally good things about Churchkeys VBAK kit. Have some good pics..... will email if you need. You wouldn't go wrong with either.

I also just replaced the Barons BAK with the PR BAK. The large end of the flare on the velocity stack is mounted away from the throttle body. The small end is the same iside diameter as the throttle body. The reduction in diameter is what increases velocity of the air entering the TB. The velocity stacks are very well made.
