I have found a couple of belts listed on e-bay.


Was wondering what some of your opinions on these belts would be before I purchase one.

The best belt that everyone here swears by is the Gates PolyChain belt, you can buy from Phats or others. Spend the extra $20 or so and don't take chances with off-brand cheapies!!

I've just bought a Gates Poly Chain belt, on recommendationsfrom this site, and it looks tougher than a tough thing that's been on tough pills.

Don't know anything about the Carlisle belt.


I had a panther belt and it fell apart after 4000 miles. I'll never use another.


I have a Gates polychain now. So far so good

Carlisle bought Dayco some years ago. They are the same now.


The Panther is the best they have for the Warrior and its crap.

I have located the belts at Phats. I am now wondering if I am ordering the right one. I do have a 240 rear tire kit, and I am not sure if the belt that broke was a stock belt. I believe it was considering it said Yamaha on it lol. I just want to be sure.


The one I am looking at is the one that was mentioned earlier.
