I just bought the bike and I need to know how to Identify what if any recalls were fixed. First Im sure the Transmission hasnt been fixed due to not having the star etched next to the VIN number. Can you guys help me figure out if the CPS and TPS have been done?

I believe you can call Yamaha and perhaps even your local dealer. Just give them your VIN and they should be able to tell you whether the recalls have been done.

Don't take the absence of marks near the VIN to mean no recalls were done.

A lot of the bikes don't have punch marks on them and have been fixed. If you somehow got hold of a bike without the recall, start shopping for go fast parts.

Its a 2002 Warrior. Can you guys give me a link to where the Technical Bulletins are for the CPS and TPS. I called Yamaha and they looked up that I need the Tranny work, CPS, and TPS done, but I would like to have the Recall Notice from the bulletin to give the dealer for the CPS and TPS I have the Tranny one.
