okay, i've been looking around here for a while, and aside from an aftermarket exhaust of some sort, what are you guys doing for the first mod?

and, in the exhaust category, will replacing the stock pipe require reprogramming, or is that only necessary after and exhaust/intake system mod?

if these questions were already answered elsewhere, just give me a link and i'll look for it, thanks

here in texas we gotta have room for that stupid inspection sticker under the license plate, kind of ruins the whole look.

i suppose the first thing i really want to know is if any reprogramming is necessary with the fuel injection if i just install a set of ground pounders, or maybe a v&h pro pipe, or maybe a set of big shots(when they become available), or can that wait till i do something with the AIS (i suppose that stand for the air inlet/intake system?)

Torque, i think the best mod with the most change was adding the pcIII even to the stock bike. it ran alot smoother and seemed to the seat of my pants to have more power/torque. you will need it eventually, i was glad i started with it. actually it wasn't supposed to be my first mod it just shipped quicker. my $.02 worth

Welcome to the forum. The seat was the first thing I did. I used to wonder why guys complained about stock seats, and when I bought the Warrior I understood. I also added a D&D slip-on and rode it for a while without a PCIII or TFI and it ran okay. I think you can get by without a PCIII or TFI if you only add exhaust, but you will notice a real difference by remapping the fuel injection with either of these devices.
