? Regarding idle

I have recently added a thunder air kit and pcIII. The map that I have, works very well throughout RPM range. The problem is after the bike is warm and you begin to turn the throttle the rpm drops down and the bike sounds like it's going to stall. This only happens right out of first gear from a dead stop. I have tried adjusting the commander on the low and high side and had no luck. Any ideas?

Do you check your idle rpm? 850-950 r/min

Yes the idle is about 900 but drops to about 600 when you begin to turn the throttle then comes back up.

did you set the throttle open and closed positon through the pcIII software? key has got to be on and 9volt hooked up. also noticed on one map I loaded the rpm's dropped significantly after warm up.

I have not tried that yet. I played with it but could not get the open to take a reading. Key was on and 9v was hooked up, but# went to zero. Im sure I just did it wrong I will follow up with manual.

closed should be zero, open should be 195 , also make sure the kill switch is in run position.

Do a search on "pciii throttle". Dynojet sent me the actual setting #'s for the throttle setting to be entered manually. I'm leaving for work. if you can't find it, email me and I'll try and dig it up tonight.

the bikes ignition must be on(engine does not need to be running) when adjusting the TP settings, even with the 9 volt adapter.

The values in the Set TP boxes will not be "0" and "100" when setting them.

You can manually set the TP by connecting the 9 volt adapter and clicking the "set TP" selection.

Warrior TP Closed 36
TP Open 194

When I opened the TP settings they were 36 and 194.
Any other ideas?

Set your idle to 950rpm's

OK : I will apply the old school here.At idle if you twist the throttle, rpm stay up and then came down slowly (lean) or stall (rich) when you twist it? IF it has both symtoms , check for open intakes on the airbox or non filter on the box. Remember when adjusting PC as soon you touch a button(low in this case)it will adjust 2%.a fast touch =rich a slower one lean.
