I didn't see this forum until I had already posted a question in the technical section. I purchased my 02 Warrior in April 06. Got really lucky it had only 437 original miles. Not a scratch on it. Guy must have been scared and sold it. With the sticker on new Warriors at $12,500 I found mine at a steal for $7500. I have already swapped the seat with a Corbin Dual Tour (Wife addition) that was non negotiable. She really hated the stock seat. I guess that is why it is called the bitch seat, cause thats all she ever did when riding on the stock seat. HAHA. I have done a few other mods but am being reserved for right now. You can check out my gallery for pics.

I am excited for this great forum and my Warrior as well. This was not my first bike and boy was I glad I started with a Shadow 600 to drop a few times and not hurt my Warrior. No matter how good you think you are and ready for this bike, If you have not ridden a big cruiser before, I suggest you get a lesser one to learn on. And for heavens sake WEAR A HELMET it's not worth dieing for [B)]. I live in Phoenix and wear mine all year (yeah its hot but for me its not even an option) last week we hit 105 and only going up. Happy riding and glad to be part of the prestigious group of Warrior owners.

OH one more quick addition. It is soooo cool to walk into a new motorcycle show room with all those amazing bikes and say to yourself. There is not one in here I would rather have than my Warrior. YAHOO!!!! Love it. [/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

Nice score! The Dual-Tour actually looks good on your bike, since it's color matched. Dosn't stick out as much that way...can't say the same for the backrest, 'tho. But if you need back comfort, you have to do what makes you happy. ****, I don't even have my bike yet, so I'll take one with a horse saddle on it!/emoticons/emotion-4.gif

The backrest is swappable for either rider. I found that after riding the bike for a few weeks I really had sore elbows from hanging on [/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]. The backrest allows me more seat time and less discomfort. I know I know it is a bit weak looking on this animal. but it sure makes it more enjoyable. Plus I can remove it anytime I want to look tough. [/emoticons/emotion-5.gif]

Nice bike. I see you have the fastest color as well! Not only can you enjoy having a fairly rare bike but you also seem to have a fairly rare color as well. Not too many of them around. I went to Warrior Fest 06 and I only remember seeing one other than mine. Maybe two. Welcome to the 4M.

Smelling, check out Star Touring and Riding based in Tucson. There are half-a-dozen very competent clubs around Phoenix, Chandler, Avondale, etc. Great riding buddies and a few RSW's. I miss 'em (moved to Oregon last year).

Welcome ... I got that same deal..7500 for my 02.. my recall was not done. make sure it's done or not either way is good because, not done means h\c pistons( if you got the cash) if done nothing to worry about...you can't lose.
