Reverse thread mirror bolt, right side HELP

Hey guys, I'm looking for any leads as to where I can source a longer bolt for the right hand mirror. I'm on my second set of aftermarket mirrors and love the new ones, but the bolt that came with them is just long enough to put the mirror on. I want to get a bolt about 3/4 of an inch or say 18-20mm longer so I can put a spacer under the mount and get the mirror to where I want it. I have no luck with YAMAHA or any of the local bike shops, I have tried calling or going to just about every Hardware shop/Industrial supplier in central MA. No luck on Reverse thread metric stuff. I tried to source a die so i could make one and had no luck with that either. If anyone has found these Mystery bolts anywhere please speak up. Also if anybody knows or can measure the pitch of the stock mirror or adaptor they are using, please post it.

I also tried the spacer and bolt from my old set of YAMAHA tear drops, same basic issue, not enough threads to hold it on. I tried Blue locktite, let it cure, it vibrated loose after a mile. There just isn't enough threads to do the job.

Thanx in advance. Dave

I didn't want to mess with tapping the mount on the bars. The locktite won't hold there is only maybe two threads holding it together.

Does the Drag Specialties mount have a normal thread pattern for the mirror mounting hole or is it also backward like the one I got from Yamaha. The Yamaha piece screws in lefty and then the one that screws into it is also lefty.

What I really need is a 10mm 1.25 pitch(I think, might be 1.5) that is 35-40mm long with a Reverse thread pattern. A corse threaded SAE 5/16 1.25 inch lefty bolt will also fit the threads but would require a hefty dose of Locktite to keep it set in place.

I am having no luck with finding anything in a bolt that is lefty. There seems to be an abundance of nuts though.
