Riding with no Front fender?

Anyone ever ride without the front fender? I think I'm liking the look without it. I want to put some shorter brake lines up front (no matter what)to follow the forks (not sure why there's so much extra line there anyway).I don't ride on wet or dirt roads so I'm not too concerned bout things... but then there's always that squeezy voice that seems to come yacking about when parts start coming "our" bike.

If ya have a pic without the front fender please post for my bike was partially stripped when I thought of this.

I built a street tracker a while back and it doesn't have a front fender. I expected to get a lot of crap in my face, but I have a full face helmet and honestly haven't noticed much if any change. the bigger problem is the short rear fender. When I hit a puddle, I get a wet stripe up my back. Yuck!

As for the front brake lines, you need the excess. When you hit the gas, the front end rises, the forks extend and the slack is taken up. Without the extra length, you'll tear the hoses out of the fittings. Bad.

If you see a puddle move to the left or right on the bike so the water does not hit you in the face. If it starts raining tie a bandana across the fork legs & let it drag on the tire.

Here's an older picture of my ride. I haven't had a front fender for years. Love the way it looks. 'Course I look like an upside down skunk when there's water on the road. Which isn't a big deal to me.

Beautifulbike my friend!

With the exception of the chrome... that's the look I want (especially love the mean cowl)

Bump... was going to pull mine off today. Any new thoughts on it? Is the front tire throwing that much **** on you with the stock rake?

Also, what about the little black fenders that stand up in front of the forks. Would it be bad juju to pull them off as well?

I have removed the front fender off of every motorcycle I have ever had. I love the way it looks with the tire exposed. it does suck in a good rain but your going to end up drenched either way. so if you like it ride it that way and if you decide you need it put it back. its and easy install/removal.
