I noticed yesterday as I was checking everything before my ride that my front cylinder heat shield is turning a nice golden color.
my warrior is bone stock. Is this a sign of a lean condition?
my question is can I bump up the ECU to take care of this problem and how do I do this or should I take it back to the dealer?
thanks and you all have been a great help to me!
have a great day[/emoticons/emotion-2.gif]

The Warrior in bone stock condition runs very lean. I've only heard of one other bike having the heat shield turn color. If it's still on warranty you might want to let the deale take a look at it.
It's a simple matter to bump up the ECU a couple of points to richen it up. It won't hurt anything and it'll probably run a little better. It's set up the way it is now to meet environmental regs.
