Doc, which cables?
I just installed the clutch, throttle and front brake cables on my ride?
Tell me which one(s) and I'll be more than glad to walk ya through it.
It's a bit of work, but not that hard to do.[/emoticons/emotion-1.gif]
pretty basic, just pay attention on how you take off the old cables in install in revers. on the throttle cables i did the top on first then the return. cluthch cable reall easy. bigest tip is to make sure and lube your cables first before installing them. any quality cable lube will due. you can get some at car parts store if you neglected to order some with your cables.
Archangel, I am replacing the two throttle cables and clutch cable; on a separate thread I requested help with brake lines (1-2 front, as well as rear).
Do I really need a "cable luber" tool in order to lube the cables?
Just installed the Baron's S/S throttle an clutch cables. It was relatively easy, although some cable lube bled through between the braid and plastic cover on the throttle cables; guess I used too much lube.
