Service Manual Error

The hardcopy service manual has what appears to be a mistake.
On page 4-27 it lists the front brake caliper bolts torque as
19 FT/LBS

Other Pages such as 4-2 & 4-43 list the torque as 29 FT/LBS

I believe that 29 FT/LBS is correct.

thats not the only mistake in it, the other being the location of the oil drain plug.

Nope, that wasn't the problem with the brakes. I found the Service Manual error and just wanted to pass it along for the crew.
The bike is now in the shop, I think the rotors need some help.

I think he is talking about the service manual, the owners manual had the bad info about the drain plugs.
