I just recently picked up an '02 (thanks to all in the 4m for just about everything), and not everytime, but occassionally there is a vibration from the front that feels like the brake, but I can't be certain. Can be significant at times, and nonexistant at others, but almost always just at low speeds or while slowing.

Anyone experience this before?

Thanks again folks.

Welcome and congrats on the 02! My favorite year! [^]

Sounds a little grabby like the pads are glazed or dirty!
Take her up to 45 and break firm and steady in a straight line.
Repeat several times. That should clean'em up. [/emoticons/emotion-5.gif]

Remove the brake line clamps from the front fender = instant cure. Vibration is from resonating fender.

I recently did this, skeptically, with my '02... it works! Try it, I'd be surprised if it doesn't solve your issue.

Who would have thought that the brake line clamps could cause vibration? I dont have braking vibration but if it develops I'll remember to try removing the clamps. I love this 4m[/emoticons/emotion-1.gif]
