Too many Spikes for me. I worry about wrecking and rolling off the bike, over the spikes.

 

Maybe if your are going backwards.

 

There's always the wild chance it would bottom out, and then, voosh, flat tire

 

Dude, those spikes on the fender are seriously long. No one likes to think about it but if you were in an accident and were to fall back or land on those they'd go in pretty deep! OUCH!

I'd be a little concerned about swinging a leg over and "bumping" one of the points. The spikes on top are not me, but if you like them, keep them. I would loose the license plate stickers as they don't really do with the rest of your theme. Just my .02

 

Thanks for the input. I sometimes need objective opinions because I get locked in on an idea and obsess.

 

i like all the spikes, but the license plate might be a little too much? guess id have to see it in person ya know.

 

Pep boys special.........No offense but the thing looks like it should have a "Type R" sticker somewhere, maybe some neon tubes stuck on and some fuzzy dice.

OK, the blades don't work. I tried them and took them off. I wish we had a Pep boys in Arcadia.

 

Hey Bill - that's part of the fun. Absolutely nothing wrong with trying different things. Of course, not everyone is going to like them and getting some creative criticism can be a good thing. Personally, I'd leave 'em on for a few days and see if they grow on you. No harm in that (unless you slice yourself). Would like to see a pic from straight back.

Don't know if you remember the mudflap mod I did a few weeks ago but I wanted to at least give it a little time before deciding whether to keep it that way. I did end up making a change but I will make a separate post with updated pics. Like I said, no harm in trying... Insert Image:

Yes, I seem to do a mod and wait a day and then know if it is a good one or not. I have mostly mods that are easily undone. For example all of the spikes come off with little or no modification. I think the spikes are here to stay for me,. I know not for everyone as many of the mods I have seen in galleries are not for me. You have to find what makes you happy and go with it. Thanks for all the honest opinions, most with no sarcasm. LOL. Keep telling it as you see it. That is the only way.
