Re: 260 budget swingarm? what do you think...

I could run a 260 with the arm Kyle did for me I just choose to run the 240. I just have no desire to run a tire that big and cut it that close. Everyone that sees my tire says DAAAAAAaaaaaaaauuum Thats a big ass tire!! lol I think it depends on what you wanna do with your bike. More ride or more show? But ask Kyle he is the specialist and he has ridden them all. He can explain it better than I can

Every time you post your bike I get like 5 messages saying " I just want my bike to look like Chad's" HaHaHa!!!

The 240 is awesome, I like doing my arms for anything up to a 260 and pricing them low so everybody can have a choice and not feel they have to go with the 240 swingarm because 260 arms cost so much more. I have used all the big tires and right now found a great all around tire is the Avon 250 with a 9" rim.

Re: 260 budget swingarm? what do you think...

I am running a Baron's link with an Eibach 1000lb spring. It is low but you can still ride it hard. If anyone wanted to know.

Well at the price you are doing these things for everyone with a Warrior should get this mod done. I think for the quality of work you are doing and how much of a difference it makes for this bike you should raise your prices. I am doing work with a guy who builds $150k Street Rods (Vince's Street Rods 31yrs in Bozeman, MT) He was super impressed with the work you did. That says alot!

Oh and I know I asked before but what do you think about these Conti's ? I think they look SICK!!!

Ask Z-Warrior he had problems with the 250 dunlop fitting his barons swingarm so he is using this tire. I think it looks sick! I would really like to use one if they had 250-280 tires. Once your 240 shinko is trashed I would go for it. I know a few years ago Conti attacks I believewere a popular tire in my area for the Sportbike guys and they werecheaper then the Pilot Powers everyone used and supposedly just a good.

Wait till the end of winter I have my frame off and I'm working on the frame jig as we speak. It's gonna be cool, not so much for the serious stuff but it's gonna look nice in the end and still be a pretty comfortable street ride. I just get bored everytime I put it back together so that lasts about one 15 minute ride then I take it apart and do something else. Luckily I have other bikes or I would never get to ride.

hey kyle do you do the rim widening also?

this winter I think it's time to take the plunge, thinking of the budget swingarm and maybe the 9" wheel w/ 250 avon as you suggested, why do you like the 9" wheel vs the 8.5" w/ the avon tire?

thanks -B

Yes I have some wheels in stock, and the 9" because it's bigger and bigger is better! LOL serious anything bigger then a 240 tire and you should be using the 9". You can use an 8.5 but the ideal size is 9

240......

260.......

It's not the size of the tire on the bike, but the ballz on the rider. My wife can barely lift her purse!

The extra ground clearance you can get from the BWK was a sweet bonus I think.

Pimpassbike dude! What tire is that? Does it come in 260?

If your asking what tire on Chads bike it was a 240 shinko, I think he put the new conti attack 240 on and it's a sick looking tire for sure, neither tire come in anything bigger then a 240 though

do you have a price list or something you can send me? Interested in stock finish wheel, weld does not need to be removed (price for both would be good), 260 swingarm, and hidden caliper bracket. Thanks!

Hey Kyle.

I'm starting my fat azz mod this winter so I wanna get a price quote on one of your arms (I believe your arms will accept both a 240 and a 260, correct?), a widened 9" wheel and one of your hidden brake caliper mods.

Thanks
