its amazing to me that some guys with bigbore kits, heads and cams cant get thier bike into the 11s but there are those that can run thier warriors with the big3 and hc pistons well into the 11s...saw it myself...those mods ran a 11.74 best time with given mods ive heard of as of yet

I should be well into the 11's, but I have 30% compression loss. I had a leakdown test done and that was the diagnosis. I had it done right after Indy when we all met out there and ran a 12.1 with the loss. So when I finally get her running like she should, I'll be happy.

Diver, it's just because the axes aren't on the same scale, it's just a matter of checking the forced scaling button when you generate the sheet. If you look at the values at 5252 both torque and hp are the same.

We offer our 122 only as a complete engine...so you send us yours (or your bike) and we do it up top to bottom.
Cylinders sleeved and clearanced for 106.34mm pistons
Custom 10.5:1 Flat Top pistons 2007cc's
Cases clearanced and modified
Custom 122 specific Carrillos
Crank lightened (alot) and balanced for 122 motor
122 specific Custom Cam Kit
122 specific Head porting with the biggest over sized valves that'll fit
Big Bore Throttle Bodies

Pricing for the complete engine starts at $6500 with your old engine on exchange. Just drop her in, and get it tuned then hold on...until your tire hooks up and you break you belt...lol

Rob,

Do you know whats involved with the engine changes? Is there something one would have to file with DMV because of the Engine Serial Number change?

Ron, I know in California, you would have to have the bike inspected and relicensed. There has to be clear indication on where the engine came from and if it was from a salvaged bike, you have to have all salvaged information, etc... But not sure how it works out in other states

is that special cam by pr too special to run with a speed* pkg.? ie, instead of having the speed* cam, substitute the new pr cam in it's place with the rest of speed* pkg.?? or cam and carrillo rods with rest of speed* pkg.? or is that a dumb question? guess one would have to go with rest of 106mm kit.?
sounds interesting. i'm sure it's not that simple though.?
reason why i ask, if i was to purchase speed* pkg. in future, could i do that but minus the speed* cam w/rods and go with pr new cam w/rods.?
not a mechanic so bare with me please. maybe i'm gettin' things confused.?.[/emoticons/emotion-1.gif]

Wip, speedstar cam must run with speedstar valve springs, and will run with stock lifters and stock pushrods. If you're gonna run a PR or OE cam, you must use their special springs, lifters and pushrods.

Any of the above cams require high compression pistons, either stock bore size (from speedstar, PR or OE) or big bore size from PR or OE. Carillo connecting rods are required only for big bore kits, but can be used with stock bore pistons for extra durability.
