I will be looking at an '05 Warrior with 7,500 miles this weekend. Has had one owner. Claims never been dropped. From the pictures it looks mint. The guy is asking $4,500. I feel like that is a reasonable price. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is as good in person as in the pictures. I really hope this bike is the one. If I buy her, I'd be happy to post pictures if anyone is interested.

Condemned Saint,

-That is a great score with exceptionally low miles on her. In my opinion the asking price is a steal on your part, if she is indeed in pristine condition.
Good luck and if you do purchase her, post up pics as we always love looking at RSW porn!

Well, I got her. She looked like it just came off the show room floor. Pristine! I couldn't give him the money fast enough. Got her home and rode her around for a bit and fell head over heals for her. I will get more pics up soon. So excited to get into the world of motorcycling. Just a little heads up, I did take the MSF rider course to get my endorsement. However, this is the first bike I have ever rode or owned. So glad I didn't start out with a small bike that I would want to trade in after a year of riding.

Hey Condemned Saint, welcome to best Forum since Ancient Rome. So your first ever bike is a 2005 Warrior. No criticism here just an old farts opinion. Under normal situations when you first start out is maybe buy a 500/650 size bike. That way you not only learn about bikes, but riding in different circumstances eg, rain, traffic, roads under repair etc. However you have chosen to take another part ( that is your choice ). I have only gotten back into riding in the last year ( after 35 yr hiatus. For a short while I had a Harley piece of junk 1200 which had to go. I went looking for another bike and like you fell in love with an 05 Warrior. Now anybody that knows me here knows that I didn’t even know what the bike was. All I know is I wanted it and I wanted to see how good I could BS the finance people lol. The first thing I noticed was how heavy it was, it felt like twice the weight of the HD. Secondly I found out that the Warrior was that quick off the mark when I gave it a fist full I shat myself. I decided very quickly that the Warrior had to be respected. It’s not like any bike I have ridden and with being on the forum I soon found out that the Warrior is a monster in sheep’s clothing. It might not have 200 horses, but what it does have is an ample amount of torque. So in my long winded way what I’m trying to say is listen to advice given here as there is probably 1000 yrs of knowledge about Warriors. Above all respect her and treat her like a Lady and she will take care of you😎😎🐝

welcome to the forum. Warrior was my first bike as well. Be careful she has power. Get used to the weight too and how she turns. The clutch (and front brake) is your best friend if things get hairy.

Aftermarket handlebars and exhaust - you got a good deal

Welcome from Reno. Congratulations on getting what sounds like a great deal. Post up more pics of the bike from different angles and the folks here can tell you what is stock and what is modified. Warriors are awesome bikes with power and great handling for a cruiser. They also just beg to be customized to your liking!
