Spark Plug Stupid Question

Sorry in advance for the stupid ??????[xx(]
I just installed Samson Shorty's w/baffles and a PCIIIusb and wanted to check the plug color. NOT!!!!!
In all my backyard "do it yourself" wrenching life I've only had two spark plug sockets, one for the lawn mower and one for the cages......How come neither one fit the Warrior??????
It seems the small one is not long enough??????
I know I should, but off the top of my head I don't know the sizes or length of what I have[V]
What gives?????
BTW, changed the oil this weekend with No problems, even after reading about some guys having trouble with the crank case bolt.

Do you still have the tool kit that came with the bike? There's a spark plug socket in there. Otherwise, it's 18mm if I remember right.

I've only got just over 2300 miles and havn't changed the plugs yet.
I only want to check the color to see how she running.

I like the Denso plugs. they supposedly provide a slight power boost.
