Spark Plug Wires

After installing the BAK, one of my spark plug wires is WAY too long now. In order to shorten it, does the wire pull out of the connecting boot, or will that damage them. Also, does anyone have suggestions on spark plugs?

The boot twists from the wire. Turn clockwise to loosen and it'll come off. Cut your wire to desired length and twist it back on, Voila'. IMO stay with the stock NGK copper plugs, the money invested in the alternatives (like Iridiums) is not worth the difference in performance - which is nil.

Troy,

Do a search on spark plugs. Lot's of us are using NGK and/or Denso iridiums. I went with the stock NGK's, splitfires, NGK iridiums - there really is no noticeable improvement. Upgrading the coils and wires with the plugs made a bit of a pulling power difference. There has been a lot of discussion regarding coils, plug wires, and plugs themselves.

Hey Jimbo, sorry to get off topic here,I noticed that OE and PR are running the stock coils on their drag Warriors, with exception of one PR bike(not the class winner either), all that I saw still had the stock coils still on. They all said they worked pretty well too. These coils look remarkably similar to the R6 and R1 coils too. Is there a real measurable difference between these and aftermarket coils?
