Mine is doing it on hot days also. (Leaving it in the sun all day at work) Called Yamaha customer support. They claim that no one else has complained about it. Called the dealer and they said they have to duplicate the issue. I don't know how easy it would be for the dealer to duplicate since it doesn't happen all the time. They won't order a new one unless they know for a fact it can't be fixed. Is the only fix a replacement?

I'm having both speedometer problems AND dealer problems. The dealer won't call Yamaha for technical advice, kept my bike for a week last time they looked at it. This time they are telling me that they can't even look at my bike for a month. The only thing worse than the reliability of my Warrior is my dealer service. This is my first and my last Yamaha.

I don't care how fast or cool a bike is if you can't ride it! I'd rather have a Harley that runs than a Warrior sitting in my garage unable to ride.

Does anyone have a phone number for Yamaha? Would that help?

Thanks,

Just started up yesterday for me. Cruising down the street on my way home @ ~ 35 mph and the speedo read zero. After I came to a stop I spun the rear wheel and the speedo 'came alive' again. I'll be checking this out more closely in the coming days. With all that Yami has on backorder, let's hope Speedometers AREN'T included...

Mine is not working at all (speedo only) all the indicator lights work, just no speed reading. I'm always doing zero! It's been that way for 5 days now, the dealers aren't much help. I guess I have to start yelling!! What about everyone elses, do the rest of the speedo components work on your's too?

Yeah everything on my bike will work fine but when the speedo is hot it will read way faster, like 140 when Im going about 70 I just figured I can live with it that way I wont get all stressed out trying to get somewhere with the dealer. Dont get me started on the scoop thing!
