Yesterday I was out riding and I noticed my speedometer was reading 90mph. This is not out of the ordinary [/emoticons/emotion-2.gif] but it just didnt feel like 90mph. Sure enough I am only crusing at about 45mph and when I came to the next red light it still showed 90. I turned off the bike at the light and flipped the key on and off again to reset it. The tach went up and down like normal but the speedometer stayed at 90. I get home and I fiddle with it some more and it goes normal again. I test ran it around the neighborhood and it seemed fine. Today, I go to work and everything was still copasetic. I had just about forgotten about it till Im heading in from my lunch break. There it goes again reading 90mph. I get back to work and shut it off and back on. works fine.
Anyone else having or had these problems? I can't find anything about this on the forums. I want to take it in to my local yamaha dealer but of course it will be working fine by the time I get it down there and I doubt they will do anything to it till they see it happening.
