I am trying to put on my newly modified solo seat and am trying to find the best way to remove the emissions sticker from the rear fender. I tried to peel it off slowly but the clear plastic that used to coat it came off in a single sheet. Anybody got any really good secrets for me?

There's an emission sticker on the fender? Maybe I removed it at one time and forgot about it. I always use a little heat. like a hair dryer on low. The I use this stuff called oops to remove any residue but lighter fluid works great too.

Just steal the wife's hairdryer, put it in low gear, heat the sticky thingy and voila ready to peel off!!![/emoticons/emotion-5.gif]

Would like to add 1 question to this post being its on the same lines? I have removed the Yamaha that was on the tail, came off really easy with a hairdryer, then I used goo gone to clean it up a bit.
Problem I am seeing is there is still a faint outline of Yamaha, Should I keep working the goo gone or is that the clear coat?

Thanks

Andrew
